NZ Diploma in Business - Level 5
On completion of this programme, graduates will be able to demonstrate general and specialised business knowledge and skills specifically in leadership and management that can be applied in a range of operational roles.
What does this diploma lead to?
The programme of study leads to the award of the NZ Diploma in Business (Leadership and Management) (Level 5).
Upon completion, graduates may study further in the areas of management and leadership or seek direct employment into the workforce. The programme provides learners with the opportunity to progresses into the Level 6 diploma that focuses on leadership and management.
The programme of study at our academy consists of 6 components:
20 credits each; Total 120 credits
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR BUSINESS DIPLOMA
Students for this program must be at least 16 years of age with an English score of IELTS 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 (or equivalent English score) and have completed at least a Certificate in Business Level 3 or New Zealand Year 12 Secondary Schooling or international equivalent. Alternatively, they should have at least two years of relevant work experience if they do not have the Certificate in Business.
All learners must have insurance while studying.

We accept enrolments regularly for 6 intake a year.
WORKING WHILE STUDYING
You may be allowed to work for 20 hours per week & maybe qualified for one year Graduate work visa.
FURTHER STUDY OPTIONS
On successful completion of this course at EIA, the students will be automatically eligible to enrol for New Zealand Diploma in Business Level 6.
Students who are awarded the NZDB level 5 qualification will receive 90 credits towards the UNITEC Institute of Technology Bachelor of Business degree. Please contact us for more information.
The programme follows a competency based assessment methodology. Students are required to demonstrate competency in all the graduate profile outcomes of the qualification.
